Getting proper sunlight may be more important than you know, thats why we have a few tips as well as a few facts for the shorter daylight we experience in the season. This shorter amount of light during the day may have a more negative impact on us than we realize.
Remember to get early morning sunlight, these rays help prepare you to sleep better when the time comes. Make sure you’re getting plenty of vitamin D as it is important for immunity and bone strength. These are important tips to keep serotonin levels up as they naturally decrease in the winter, which you don’t want as serotonin is the happiness hormone. People with seasonal affective disorder will really want to focus on those two tips, avoiding depression can be difficult in the winter, but giving your brain the fuel it needs, and staying active could make all the difference.
